On Friday, December 3, JLL, the exclusive marketing agent, announced the successful sale of the shopping mall Peace Centre and the adjacent residential complex Peace Mansion following five attempts at a collective sale.
This mixed-use development, situated at 1 Sophia Road, was sold for S$650 million to a joint venture named Sophia Residential Pte Ltd, which includes CEL Development, Sing-Haiyi Crystal, and Ultra Infinity. The reserve price for the collective sale was established at S$650 million. More than 80 percent of the current property owners consented to the sale, which encompasses 232 commercial units, 86 apartments, and a car park with 162 lots. In total, the property comprises 319 strata units distributed across a 10-storey front podium and a 32-storey rear tower.
The site, covering an area of 76,617 square feet, is designated for commercial purposes as per the Urban Redevelopment Authority’s (URA) 2019 Master Plan, featuring a gross plot ratio of 7.89.
